Kahlil Johnson Psychiatry, LLC provides a sophisticated understanding of the nexus between psychiatry and the law by evaluating and assessing human behavior and mental health within a legal context and assisting the court, legal professionals, or others with cases involving parties who may have mental disabilities and disorders. Psychiatric assessment and forensic evaluation of persons in correctional institutions, secure hospitals, the community, or other settings, will be conducted in an objective, compassionate and professional manner and adhere to a standard of excellence. Forensic services include, but are not limited to, evaluations for:

Correctional Psychiatry
Dr. Johnson has been involved in the practice or oversight of correctional psychiatry since 2008 and serves as a court appointed mental health monitor. Kahlil Johnson Psychiatry, LLC is available to provide expert witness testimony and consulting services for correctional institutions.
General Psychiatry
Dr. Johnson has been involved in the practice of psychiatry since 2005. He has experience practicing in community, inpatient, and skilled nursing and assisted living facility settings. Kahlil Johnson Psychiatry, LLC conducts psychiatric assessments and provides general psychiatry services to patients with a focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Medications and psychotherapy are prescribed as needed and patients are referred to therapeutic and support services when appropriate.
